Objectives of the Saddle Levels

Each Saddle Level certifies a rider’s skills at a specific stage of their equestrian development. Once the level is validated, the rider receives a certificate acknowledging their achievements and progression. At this stage, this certification primarily serves to:

  • clearly identify the rider’s current level

  • help organise groups adapted to each rider’s abilities

  • monitor skill development over the years

  • ensure consistent progression within the same riding centre

As the program expands within equestrian structures, Saddle Levels may also become a shared reference between centres and gradually serve as a recognised benchmark for other equestrian activities. Even now, they ensure pedagogical consistency between instructors and provide a clear and fair system for tracking riders’ progression.
